A Legacy Continued

Legendary Alabama football coach, Gene Stallings, is known for his legacy of love on and off the field. His late son John Mark, also known as “Johnny,” was born with Down syndrome. Today in countless parks, playgrounds and facilities across Alabama, Johnny is remembered for his champion heart and for the lives he touched.

Johnny’s legacy continues to live on every day in Thomazeau, Haiti. His sister, Laurie Stallings Vanderpool, is co-founder of LiveBeyond, a humanitarian organization with innovative programs providing good health and hope for future generations in Haiti. This facility will serve as a learning and therapy center for children with special needs. Children with special needs in Haiti are labeled as outcasts, but Johnny’s House will provide kids with a loving environment where they will be valued and learn that they can truly make a difference in the world just like Johnny did.

Join us to honor Johnny and build “Johnny’s House”.
