Jackie is a mother of two and lives in Argyle, Texas, with her husband that she has been happily married to since 1986. Jackie is a community advocate who helped found Cross Timbers Community Church in 2000, where she attends today. She holds a bachelor’s of science in education from Abilene Christian University. One of Jackie's favorite activities is going to Haiti and helping with the efforts there.




Heather is married to her high school sweetheart, Drew, and they have two children, Olivia and Jack. They reside in Newburgh, Indiana. She is a PTO member at her children’s school, co-leads a women’s Bible Study, and assists with a children’s ministry program through the public school. Heather obtained a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in special education, both from Illinois State University.   

Heather’s first trip with LiveBeyond was in 2012. She and Drew continue to make trips to Haiti to support the mission of transforming Haiti for the kingdom of God. They are members of Crossroads Christian Church.  


Taylor is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist – Head and Neck Surgeon – in private practice in Abilene, Texas. He graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1999 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and from the University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine with his M.D. in 2003. He then completed his otolaryngology residency at The University of Missouri in 2008. 

Dr. Tidmore first traveled to Haiti with LiveBeyond in June 2012. The Vanderpools met Taylor two years earlier when they served together on a medical mission in Ghana. He is married to Heather Tidmore, who is also a passionate supporter of LiveBeyond's work. They have four young children; Anna, Mason, Will and Sarah. They are active members of Southern Hills Church of Christ.


David and Laurie Vanderpool founded Mobile Medical Disaster Relief (now known as LiveBeyond) shortly after Hurricane Katrina to help with disaster relief in the Gulf area. Over the years, they have established an aid presence in 14 countries around the world. After the 2010 Haiti Earthquakes, the Vanderpools were first responders to provide medical care in Port au Prince. After seeing the desperation and needs of the people there, they established a base of operations in Thomazeau, Haiti. They plan to live there indefinitely to transform Thomazeau for The Kingdom of God.

They have been married since 1981 and have three children together.
