HEART FOR CHILDREN
Kè Pou Timoun means Heart for Children in Haitian Creole. And that's what this program is all about. Sharing our hearts and the love of Jesus with at-risk children.
These children are from the poorest communities in Thomazeau. All of the kids were 40% underweight when they first joined the program. 30% had never been to school.
The goal of this program is to improve all areas of these kids' lives. Monday through Friday, children come to our base for two nutritious meals, educational opportunities to learn literacy skills, a Bible lesson, tutoring, leadership and sports leadership activities, and basic health check-ups.
SPONSOR A KID IN KÈ POU TIMOUN
The average person in Thomazeau, Haiti lives in extreme poverty and subsists on US $1.25 or less each day. This means that most kids aren't receiving adequate daily nutrition or the education they need to break the poverty cycle in their life.
For $40 a month, you can sponsor one child so they can attend our Kè Pou Timoun program. We believe every child deserves to be cared for, and you can be part of this investment.
