TRIP COORDINATOR & BASE MANAGER
David Johnston was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. David received his bachelor's degree in geography from the University of Tennessee where he studied physical, social, and cultural geography, and also studied environmental science from the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. He is an avid outdoors photographer and hiker.
David first experienced everything Live Beyond had to offer in September of 2013 and immediately was hooked. He and his wife Tayler moved to Haiti to work for LiveBeyond in April 2017.
MSN, CNM, WHNP
MATERNAL HEALTH DIRECTOR
Tayler is originally from Jackson, Tenn. She and her husband Dave met at University of Tennessee Knoxville. She then transferred and received her bachelor's in Nursing at Cumberland University. Tayler completed her masters in nursing with a specialty in nurse-midwifery at Frontier Nursing University, as well as a post-masters certificate with a specialty in women's health. She is now a Certified Nurse-Midwife and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.
The Johnston's first trip to LiveBeyond was September 2013 and within a few months they were planning to move down. Tayler went back to school, and they moved to work for LiveBeyond as soon as she finished. Tayler's goal is that no woman in Thomazeau (or throughout Haiti) will have to give birth at home alone, and that mothers and babies will not die of preventable causes.
Chelsea grew up in the Texas panhandle. After graduating from Abilene Christian University in 2010 with a bachelor and master degree in Accounting, she moved to the Fort Worth to work for a public accounting firm. In 2015, she served on her first LiveBeyond mission trip and fell in love. She has always had a passion for missions, but was unsure how her spiritual gifts and type-A personality would be useful there. A few months later, God orchestrated an opportunity for her to be LiveBeyond's accountant. It's the dream job she didn't know existed.
Chelsea is the mother to two precious puppies, Constance and Journey.
SOUTHWEST REGION DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Caleb is a passionate and caring person who has a heart for the Lord and His work. He has been on missions all over the world, but his calling was solidified after his first mission to Haiti in November of 2014. The opportunity to leave the business world and pursue a LiveBeyond lifestyle was an answer to many prayers and a dream come true. He joined LiveBeyond in January 2016 and couldn't be more excited to help further the Kingdom of God through this worthy cause.
He has been married to his wife, Tara, since 2007. They live in Katy, Texas with their two wonderful children, Adalyn and Brittan.
