A Brighter Future: Nutrition Program Moving Forward

LiveBeyond started 2021 with the fantastic news that we reached over 100% of our fundraising goal for our efforts toward ending malnutrition in our region of Thomazeau, Haiti.

We now want to update you on our plans moving forward with the nutrition program and how your donations will be making a difference in the lives of those who need it most!

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” – Matthew 25: 35 & 36

First, we are in the process of purchasing 2 new trucks to help distribute food on a much larger scale. One of the trucks will be a normal pickup truck, and the other will be a flatbed truck. We are acquiring two new trucks so we can efficiently deliver food to each local school we coordinate with. (Stay tuned for more on this in next week’s blog.) Each truck will serve us greatly in getting all of the food where it needs to be.

Next, we are coordinating for more containers of food to be shipped to Haiti. These containers will ship every 4-6 weeks with all of the necessary food supplies. By reaching over 100% of our fundraising goal, we hope to double the number of schools we will be working with. This will allow us to serve many more hungry children.
