A Moment to Pray for Haiti

LiveBeyond has been working in Haiti for just over 11 years now. We began our work when the devastating earthquake hit in January 2010. There have been many trials come for the entire country of Haiti, including earthquakes, hurricanes, political unrest, and looming poverty. We have also seen many beautiful things happen during our years here as well. Many have come to know Christ, mothers are having successful & healthy pregnancies, and one of the poorest communities amongst Haiti has begun to flourish.

Throughout the last year, Haiti has continued to experience a lot of political unrest. This has caused disruption in progress towards growth and sustainability for the country as a whole. To read more about the happenings in Haiti, read this article from the United Nations.

Due to the uncertainties the people of Haiti are facing, we want to take a moment to pray for this country and community. We ask that you pray God will provide the people of Haiti with peace, hope, and resolution. We have seen the Lord work in miraculous ways and we believe He has the power to transform nations. Join us in praying for the people of Haiti.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. ” -Philippians 4:6&7

We say it often, but we can never say it enough: Thank you for your support to LiveBeyond!! We are extremely grateful for each and every one of you who continues to support us through prayer, donations, and words of encouragement. You are a blessing to LiveBeyond.
