Update from Solomon

Solomon Says Prayer Gave Victory

David Vanderpool, MD: Hi, LiveBeyond family. I bring you greetings from the LiveBeyond base in Thomazeau, Haiti. As many of you know, our dear friends and coworkers, Solomon and Brian were kidnapped on August 6th by a very cruel gang that works throughout Haiti. They were brutally abused and tortured for four days until we were able to then secure their freedom the next Sunday morning.

I know many of you have been praying for them, and Solomon wanted to express his thanks to you for praying for him and his family during this trying time.

Solomon: My dear brothers and sisters, really I’m very thankful to you for praying for me and Brian. Really, we faced a lot of problems on those five days, the days when we were kidnapped. But really, at the same time we were praying to God that a lot of people might be praying for us, and prayer has given us victory. For that, really, you all prayed for me, which has given us victory, and for that really we are thankful to you all. And also, really, I feel proud to work with LiveBeyond. That’s all.

David Vanderpool, MD: Thank you so much, Solomon, and we are so grateful to the Lord for your freedom and that you’re back with us safe and sound, and we look forward to many more years together.

Blessings to you, and thank you for all of your prayers. LiveBeyond!
